Meditation in Everyday Life - Open to the Public
The Meditation in Everyday Life course is designed to provide you with the introductory tools and teachings for working with meditation in everyday life. With simple instructions and support, mindfulness meditation practice can become part of your lives, bringing greater stability, strength, and clarity.
Over the course of a year, the Way of Shambhala series offers a structured path of meditation and an introduction to all that Shambhala offers. It also offers a glimpse of the Shambhala vision of enlightened society by emphasizing the ways in which meditation can impact our daily lives, and from there how the sanity of meditation can expand to impact our whole society.
Meditation In Everyday Life is Open to the Public and meets weekley for five evenings from 6:30-9:00pm.
About Jonathan Barbieri:
Jonathan Barbieri, a long time meditation practitioner and teacher in the Shambhala tradition, was part of the first Shambhala Directors Training with Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche in the late 1970′s. Since then, he has taught extensively throughout North America. He was formerly the executive director of Shambhala Mountain Center.
