Introducing Our New Center Director: Gailmarie Kimmel

The Fort Collins Shambhala Meditation Center Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Gailmarie Kimmel as the new Center Director, effective July 1, 2017.

Gailmarie has been a Center member since 2008 and took her first Level I in 2007.  She has been an active practitioner and volunteer at the Center, having staffed numerous classes and programs and is currently finishing co-coordinating the entire Sacred Path this past school year ending with Golden Key in July.  She has been the ongoing Center’s Membership Coordinator for several years, as well.  She is married to fellow Center member, Bill Timpson.

Gailmarie brings a long standing and strong background in directing nonprofit and faith organizations, in addition to developing initiatives, programs and building collaborations with a number of organizations in Colorado and California.

Currently, Gailmarie is attending Rigden Abisheka at Dorje Denma Ling in Nova Scotia and will jump into her new role upon her return.  She is looking forward to bringing her training, passion and inspiration to her service as Director.
