FCSMC Enters Hibernation

Dear Members and Friends of Fort Collins Shambhala Meditation Center,

FCSMC has left its home of 12 years and entered a temporary hibernation mode until we are once again able to gather, study and meditate together. The sangha remains alive and well.

Furnishings and practice materials are being stored indoors at the United Way on Oak and Whitcomb where they have been separated into longer-term hibernation articles and practice items that we are likely to use as we emerge from our nap. Also in the building, we have access to Prue’s Place meeting room where we will be able to gather when guidelines permit as we restart.

During hibernation, activity and communication will be minimal. We suggest that you get on the Denver and Boulder email lists, to keep up with your practice. They are active with weekly online dharma talks, meditation and programs. Sign-up is right on their home pages: https://denver.shambhala.org/, and https://boulder.shambhala.org/

Please keep an eye out for future communication from this FCSMC caretaker committee as we begin to write the next chapter of our sangha together. Also, please contact us at [email protected] with any questions or comments. We will be checking email regularly.
