Meditation in Everyday Life - This Introductory Class is Open to Everyone!

By learning simple tools, as well as receiving support in their use, come and learn how mindfulness meditation (shamatha) can become part of your daily life, bringing invaluable stability, strength, and clarity of mind.

The Way of Shambhala path offers a structured sequence of study and contemplation, accompanied by sitting meditation practice. At the same time, an introduction to the tradition of Shambhala is presented, including the Shambhala vision of enlightened society, which explores how we can radiate our fundamental sanity, impacting not only the quality of our own life, but that of others, and society altogether.

The Companion Class/Weekend Retreat - The Art of Being Human: Shambhala Training I will be held January 12-14.  The teachings in each support the other, so ideally are taken in proximity of each other. The Level 1 weekend class is not required to continue with the Everyday Life series.

If you would like to coordinate this class please click HERE (MIEL and Level V are recommended, with some exceptions).

*Our Generosity Policy:

In order to make our programs accessible to everyone, we have a “Pay as much as you can afford” policy.  Use 50% of the program fee as a guideline, and pay more or less according to your situation.  You can write in that amount in the "Notes/Comments" section when you register and pay at the first class.  If you have any questions, please contact the registrar by email at [email protected].

For those who can offer more than the program price, we have a “patron price”. Your generosity in offering the patron price helps make the generosity policy possible.
