Taking Vows in the Buddhist and Shambhala Traditions...what does it mean?
We have examples of vows in human society throughout time. Sometimes the emphasis may be one of loyalty – other times commitment.
They can be related to getting married or pride and protection of family.
Join us for a discussion on Vows and in particular the Refuge Vow which is considered to be a formal commitments to the Buddhist Path.

The Open House talk is from 7:45 - 8:30 p.m. Meditation practice, and optional instruction, is from 7:00 - 7:45 p.m. Please join us for either or both!
