Come One! Come All!

Come Celebrate Children's Day & the Winter Solstice!

Sunday, December 23, 11 AM to 2 PM.

This year we are asking YOU to help co-create a fun, Light-Hearted Celebration.
It's family-style from beginning to end: decorating together,
creating a program together, enjoying a meal together, cleaning up together!

Here are our ideas so far:

~~Bring your musical instruments and join in! We already have the talents of the Docherty and Parker-Williams teenagers lined up for musical offerings sure to get our toes tapping.
~~Email in high-resolution photos of your home shrines for children's day. We will project them on the big screen and invite your children to talk about their shrines. [email protected]

~~We will tell, enact and sing the Shambhala solstice story of "Iliana." Our fearless leader Chris Bacon cannot join us this year but we will debut new talents...!

~~Bring your favorite holiday poem or juggling balls or winter tale/song...all offerings welcome!

1.  RSVP by signing up to bring a potluck dish to share

2.  Email us with your creative offerings & shrine photos so we can plan out the program at [email protected]

3.  Plan on arriving a little before 11 AM for the opening Lhasang

We will be decorating on Sunday, December 16
at Noon and could use extra kids & adult hands and your Solstice inspiration!

Looking forward to a fun and joyful celebration with you and your families!

Let's help Iliana help bring back the Great Eastern Sun!
