Learn To Meditate
Our “Open Public Sitting” meditation sessions offer a friendly introduction to meditation practice with Free Meditation Instruction, Shambhala Buddhist teachings and our community.
Mondays: 5pm – 6pm. Open sitting – usually without meditation instruction.
Tuesdays: Noon – 1pm. Free meditation instruction begins at noon on Tuesdays.
Wednesdays: 7pm – 8pm. Free meditation instruction begins at 7pm on Wednesdays.
Sundays: 10am – 12pm. Free meditation instruction begins at 10am on Sundays.
Our Wednesday and Sunday sittings are generally for periods of 25 minutes with a 10 minute walking meditation. The sessions are followed by a brief Dharma Talk, after which there is group discussion. Everyone is welcome. Participation is free of charge. All are welcome to come and to leave as desired.
The Monday and Tuesday sitting periods are for individuals to “Drop-in” and leave as desired.
